Hey guys, I removed my driver side door today to fix up some rust before winter hits, When I pulled it off I realized some of the wiring was really rough so I decided to fix some of them up. When this would happen I also noticed that when I locked the doors with the key fob the horn wouldn't beep like it normally does. I used Vag-com and found this code. I did not find what I expected to see from your comment. Both were 25A and intact. If the orange wire is hot, my next step is to pull the driver door panel and get at the module, unless a code points in a different direction? Driver's Side Window Stopped Working. A wiring diagram for the door will be very helpful. Check the orange wire, where it goes into the driver door. Location: Sacramento, CA. When I checked the fuses, the driver side door and passenger door fuse was blown " Replaced it" Now with all that hooked up, the door lights still come on but the window doesn't open and the lock button doesn't work either, All other window switches do not work but the locking button works on the passenger side. The only thing that works is the power lock control from the passenger side.

Location: Sauk Centre, MN. Most functions are no longer carried on individual wires but are controlled thru data lines and BCM modules. I believe everything worked before but I'm not 100% sure. If that fuse is good..... then you need to start checking for broken wiring between the door and the dashboard. Checked fuses ok check 4 big wires got 12v ground other 2 is motor.
