I read the first Lady Hardcastle book a few months back and while I'm usually not a big fan of mysteries, this series has kept me captivated and glued to the screen of my kindle. Lady Hardcastle is a force of nature. These books are really fun. Also, here there is not the typical cliche in which the police play a dumb and clueless part, instead, it has a more interesting take. Or maybe what saves the day is getting to know the other losers at Table 19 -- and yes, they really are losers, one way or another.
