Dating back to the mid 2000s, my favorite practice for identifying mature buck patterns, has been to place a camera alongside a food plot, on a single mock scrape. Then, I might set up a scrape dripper in hopes of increasing the buck activity in that location. Northerly winds are abnormal for our area and this in itself could make a stand setup even better.
