But Vashti is completely unaware, living with the sheep outside of Edinburgh. And shows her what's become of her long-forgotten and buried record from 1970. Vashti was born in Newcastle and grew up in London. He realizes it's her, Vashti Bunyan. By the late 90s/early 2000s, Just Another Diamond Day is legendary, both for its rarity and its content. Since it had sold so poorly, there had been few pressings. After kicking around the London music scene for a bit with no success, it's 1968. Actually living the bucolic life romanticized in her music.
