From everything I have heard on GC, Kent State University is the ONLY school in the USA where being a sophomore rushee is actually an advantage!!!!! My sorority does hold legacies to a certain degree of esteem and we are expected to treat them with special consideration - up to a point. Everyone was pretty torn with the legacy issue. Dues are around $400 for sororities per semester. Doesnt hurt to throw a bible verse in your bio. It isn't like Justamom described where you have big groups of girls from the same HS rushing together. You've mentioned that your husband is a Delt; did a lot of KSU Chi-O's end up married to Delt brothers? I was also wondering about how many girls go through rush each year at LSU? I would like to hear about Ivy League or New England schools rush.... Some of the others from her HS don't interact beyond their own sorority. Over-the-Top Sorority Houses. The SAEs were pretty popular with the girls in general, most of the sororities had little SAE groupie cliques. They are in Florida and so is every other LSU sorority and fraternity. Justamom-we don't have a vote as a chapter but the CRSB can vote to release a girl if she has broken too many rules or has proven herself to be undesirable.
