The injector should not be squirting gas unless the engine is running, might be as simple at a bad oil switch or the temp switch causing it. Then look for a power problem to the ECM. Well you need to double check the wiring then you have something off, the engine should shut down once the oil pressure is gone, yours is not that is why you are still seeing gas from the TB when it's no running. 9/10/20 9:19 a. m. I had the hose between the pump and the gauge/fuel lines in the tank leak. I modified the internal regulator in my TBI unit, and ran an external adjustable regulator. Not great for lawn mowers either…I'm lucky, though, there's a gas station a few miles from my house that sells pure gasoline that I use for my lawn mower. Changed the gettin too much fuel for some reason?... So, while the vehicle may use fuel more efficiently, it does consume a considerable amount. Location: BA, Argentina. Hope it works this time. I'll check the ground tomorrow but if it seems ok this all points to a bad fuel pump. Can you tell me what the "Fuel Module" is and where it is located? This results in a drip that creates a misfire. From my understanding thats a reference for pulse to ecm. The reason I ask is that I managed to find a replacement pump for my Miata for $15. An electric balance test for an electronic failure may be possible with the use of a scan tool. Ok. Replace them both, unless the "sock" has collapsed inside the tank or you have another flo restriction somewhere you really shouldn't see that much pressure variation key on engine off, under idle or WOT.
Hmm- I think I have a bad injector I noticed this when I moved them to their opposite housings. Another thing to look for is a wet spark plug. The o rings cause leaks but it sounds like a leaky injector. Being that the light stays on when connected that would mean i have no pulses its just staying on. Perhaps you have an electrical connection bad there. I think the truck might have ground problems. Thats where i'm lost. Fuel injectors can also leak externally as a result of dry, cracked rubber seals, or cracks within the injector itself. Any details on how you modified to add an external adjustable regulator?

From my experience, they don't like being run hard AT ALL. Fuel Pressure regulator rebuilt. Spray on with the wire on but with the ECM unplugged = bad wiring. The fuel pressure tester I was using replaced the fuel filter with a piece of pipe with a shrader valve on it because there isn't one in the system from the factory, so all testing was done with the filter out of the equation. Cut that thing open and see if it's junk. Now if you have a good +12v signal on 10 and 15 and the headlights don't change the voltage much, then check the voltage on pins 10 and 15 but this time use either pin 13 of C2 (Black) or pin 15 of C1 (Tan?? ) What is the most likely cause? Turns out it may have actually running lean. Carbon build-up can cause a clogged or partially clogged injector, preventing the injector from closing all the way. Make sure the wiring is all good before firing the fuel pump parts cannon. Is that because the injectors don't get enough fuel pressure? Replace fuel injector tree. It receives and sprays a high-pressure mist of gasoline into the engine as controlled by the car's internal computer.
