Sorry to hear about this. I do know that I owned a motorhome for several years and I met some of the nicest people and I would bet that if I spent time with some of the campers around the lake I would like them as well. Will be dropping by the store next time I am over that way in a week or so. Saw some campers and I hope that they clean up after themselves.
Basically, due to incidents of dogs chasing goats in the lake (and goats can't swim) and several years ago, there were incidences of people shooting the goats. Unfortunately, the dogs had killed all but one of the goats. I am aware of the following results of Frances just on the South end of Lake Martin: 3 boats were sunk at their docks in Tallassee & Cooper Sloughs. At least 103 times in my data of the United States (6 in Alabama).
