Our answer is NO way! Climbers Against Cancer raises funds to give to research establishments to try to find a cure for this disease that affects most families in some way. We support each climber's journey to reach their personal goal. On a Thursday, I had leg pain and what I thought might be a swollen lymph node in my hip. We will be tracking all federal, state, and public health guidelines pertaining to COVID-19. We take our helmets off to John and look forward to seeing CAC continue to make a difference around the globe. Currently my blood counts are quite stable and the large number of tumours around the body that were initially extremely aggressive seem to be in a controlled state. Through the worldwide climbing community, CAC aims to increase awareness and raise funds for research in the continued fight against a disease that affects so many. Most people these days have had their lives touched by cancer in some shape or form, be it themselves or family and friends. This you may say is my 'crux' and I either fall or push on to the summit. I have met some fantastic climbers along the way and some huge stars in our sport but I am just as excited when I read a letter of support from a young climber I hardly know or see a climber smiling away as they put their CAC t-shirt on for the first time.
