This portion of the story is so honest and heartbreaking and important to feel what she is feeling. It's a dark place to be stuck in and one you can't get out of without the right help. But I have to be careful. With her mental illness always in the back of her head, she builds a wall around her to protect herself from hurt, and doesn't completely trust anyone, including him.
What I loved most about the book is how it addresses the toxicity of purity culture. Which makes it hard to like and forgive Logan. It doesn't make any sense. I would even love to see a second book that details their life together, once they became a couple. She did what every girl (well ok me) wishes they could do, but is too scared/honorable to do so.
