A lot of people don't consider this, but you can lift your Jeep 3" without appreciably affecting driveline angles. I did an 8" rize lift on an 06 SCrew with a 6. Smartest words today!!!! I already have a high speed vibration that i'm trying to get rid of. Need more lift, would the drive shaft be ok? A couple weeks ago I pulled the rear drive shaft and drove around in fwd for a week it was so bad. Transfer case points down 6.
I'm starting to believe my vibration is coming from the drive line angles being slightly off. Current thought then is "drive shaft isn't long enough causing wear on the splines in the pinion to the transfer case" valid? Lifted truck drive shaft angle setup. That gives me operating angles of 9. Also researched that "sometimes" the front pinion "could" pull out of the xfer case in a lifted scenario to the point that the splines are less than desired engaged on the output shaft. Could someone let me know what there drive line angles are for the 2 piece driveshaft? I pushed it in to cover the shiny area and then measured how much more it could push in.

00 to have him install a piece of 3" square tubing under my carier and now he tells me im going to have to live with it, what a crock! Up to 55 and after 65, smooth. Since the diff will torque up under power, I figure the diff should be 4 degrees up instead of 7. hows my thinking? But due to the loose bearing it's impossible to know what's causing what now--and I don't remember when the vibe it started. I'd doubt you'll get any vibes doesn't happen unless you run more than 5" or so (using stock pinion and transfercase angles). I currently have a slight vibe at highway speeds (even after putting the shaft in phase). Looking at the angle on mine and wondering what everyone else has and if there have been any issues with it. I picked up the builder parts off of TRM customs. 6" lift and a two piece drive shaft. Almost no one spends the money to do it right though. Pulled a rear section driveshaft from a donor truck (Original yoke was worn out) had the driveshaft re balanced with 3 new SKF u joints and new carrier bearing. I want to verify any potential causes prior to fixing what might just be symptoms! I am still using the 2" lift blocks that came in the kit originally (I made sure the tapper is positioned correctly). Any Constructive suggestions and inputs would be greatly appreciated. Think about longer the driveshaft, the lesser then angles will be versus a shorter driveshaft and that same amount of lift. 6 degrees, the shaft at 12. New ujoints both ends of the drive shaft. The question is would the drive shaft ok with the stock 2in blocks, belltech 6400s (also already on) and an add-a-leaf? Seems good there under the above assumption. Changing from a stock Dana 44 rear axle to a high pinion Dana 60 rear axle raises the rear pinion height by 2 3/4", so a 3" lift will have an essentially stock driveline subject here is driveshaft (pinion) angle and negative effects wear, driveline vibrations, etc.. IMO - across the board, You lift and you Will wear things quicker and in useage extremes break things. You can also buy shims.. That should help the slip yoke in the transfer case sit further inward. A rear DC driveshaft (and even double DC shaft) is also an option and has helped other folks. After i had the front 0. That was album 50 and it felt amazing to put in all the time and work and actually complete the project.
We had guitars, bongos, glockenspiels and laptops and it was all groovy. Another proud moment was when I arranged the Oasis - What's The Story Morning Glory album. Is this love ukulele. One that stands out is Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix. However, my mate Buddy tuned it up and he managed to get it to stay in tune long enough to play a simple chord sequence.
