Saturday before the parade the Carthage Fire Department will be serving up Pancakes at the fire station, 401 W. Chestnut. This outdoor market features dozens of vendors selling festival souvenirs and creative handmade decor, jewelry and clothing. Today we - my wife, Leann - and I, went to Carthage, Missouri to the Maple Leaf Festival & Parade. Leann and I went on the sidewalk and Bruce was in the street. Children's performers, such as clowns and magicians, entertain the kids throughout the festival. Our live stream allows you to watch and listen to the parade from anywhere in the world! On Thursday, those living on Grand Avenue started setting up lawn chairs and marking off street-side sections in front of their homes. Please pray for all those who received a gospel tract or heard the open air preaching. What we did was have some people walking in the parade handing gospel tracts to folks standing and sitting right along the street. She was handing them to teenagers, and also walking up to the people in the yards and those sitting on porches at their houses.
