When your DIC went out did the buttons go out also? Fuses seem all allright also and everything else works flawlessly. I also did not disconnect the battery so I was able to test the display before I put everything back together. Great information guys, I was wanting to do this myself, but was contimplating on taking the truck into the delership to have it done, cause I had no idea what went into it or what needed to be changed out. We work on ALL GM cars and light trucks from the 1940's up to date. We are not set up to do anything but GMs, so if you go to another shop they will have no idea on how to service your vehicle.

Are there any recalls on a 2007 GMC Yukon? Thus, at night, the dash lights are dimmed, presumably, not causing as much heat and not causing the disconnect?
Do the fix spelled out in this thread. When you see your instrument cluster is not working, first check the fuses.
