There are plenty of funny parts & serious parts, but mainly a light-hearted mystery with a tiny bit of romance, but not an overwhelming amount to take away from the story! I like romances, thrillers, and family dramas, but I don't seek out funny books. At times she was eye rolling naive, but I went with it.
