It is critical that we lead our sheep in a Godly way, directing them to pastures of abundance, where they will be "fed" and not "starved. " For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. " Be in the Word, stay in His pasture, Feed off His living Word. Paul tells us in I Corinthians 6 that we are the temple of God and that he lives in us.

What makes us ministers of and in purpose is the fact that the burden we carry is because of the distinct message of His pasture. So the shepherds not only guided the sheep but protected them.
