Bad jokes, bad P. Bad jokes, bad story line, and p. diddy ruined it for me. Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) reminds Sergio that the tenth anniversary of Aldous Snow's epic concert at the Greek Theatre is approaching, and that to honor that anniversary, they should have him do it again. Well, Aldous Snow is a nightmarish, constantly inebriated, nihilistic sex manic who doesn't respond to direction. Easily the funniest movie since Superbad. This movie is rediculously unpredictable for the first time viewer, mostly do to the improv-ious nature of the film. Plot: musician, addiction, music, visceral, redemption, gunfight, runaway, stereotypes, dysfunctional family, distopia, fantasy world, friendship... Time: 90s. One scene involves a woman using a sex toy (visible) on a male character against his will that results in him wondering if he's been raped.

Unfortunately, if you've seen the ads on television, you've pretty much seen this already. Funny as can be, its a total mind fuck, even if you don't feel my dick in your brain. One of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. Plot: wedding, party, road trip, bachelor party, hung over, farce, strip club, memory loss, weed, disappearance, friendship, mishap... Time: contemporary, 21st century, 2010s. Style: parody, funny, satirical, stylized, absurd... List includes: Alice in Wonderland, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Æon Flux, The Fifth Element. I would give it an 8. Get Him To The Greek.

Ultimately "The Tempest" is a strangely flat movie, especially after Taymor's earlier Shakespeare adaptation, "Titus, " a wildly ambitious, colorful and expressive vision of the Bard's most bizarre play, "Titus Andronicus. " There are a few breakouts here that I think need to be mention. Aaron is in way over his head. "Army of One" has some laughs, but it's one of the many cases where the truth is probably even more interesting than a dramatization. He must go to England, pick up Aldous Snow, take him to New York for an appearance on "The Today Show" and then get him back to Los Angeles to the Greek Theatre for the concert. If you want a comedy, watch this movie. Elisabeth Moss, Jonah Hill, Rose Byrne & Russell Brand. Both "Get Him to the Greek" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" were produced by Judd Apatow, who does a nice line in gross-out comedies. How about the scene with his 'son'? There is one part where they smoke weed with, really amazing part.

There were sporadic funny parts, but overall a boring movie. The gags are all centred around drugs, alcohol and sex, which are mostly handled crudely; Some top-notch direction and an interesting, original story help to make Get Him to the Greek more watchable than the script would allow on its own. While Shakespearian dialogue is a challenging and different muscle for most dramatic actors to flex, Brand just seems like his normal self as the sociable, impetuous Trinculo. People are inclined to compare it to Forgetting Sarah Marshall, since they're both written by Segel and feature the same rockstar character, Aldous Snow (Russel Brand), but the movies should be taken separately, as they are nothing alike.

Russel brand who isnt a bad stand up commidien and jonah hill is known to be pretty funny. Jonah Hill and Russell Brand were retarded as always, unfunny dull characters. Oddly enough, P. Diddy gives an excellent performance as well! Most I've laughed in a long time, " giggles, while liked the film so much he's seen it twice.
