As I moved deep within her, I vowed to myself that I would honor that trust. This is a great story about not letting the past define you and breaking down your walls in order to let others in. This book was beautiful. The push and pull between them added a delicious level of angst to this sexy romance.
What Theo and Claire both didn't expect is the strength of the attraction between them. In between the romance, the feels, was this delightful chemistry that I just could not get enough of! Neither of them ever expected for a fake date to soon turn into something real. And when you're facing the dreaded singles table at a wedding and no hope of getting a date the real way, you find yourself scouring the inter webs for a fake one. Overall, this is perfection. A kiss wasn't supposed to happen. While the story does tie up perfectly by the end I never did feel that Theo was good enough for Claire. Feel on the other hand had Hang-Ups of his own. Theo is by far, my favorite hero of hers. What I loved the most though was the growth these two experienced. Their chemistry is a current that flows fast and furiously through them, perhaps carved by fate. When we read the synopsis for If You Were Mine, we knew we had to read it.
