Even though I didn't like seeing him with his mistress, it added to his nature he portrays and it also made me appreciate him a bit more for his sacrifice for Diana's happiness. This series is extraordinary and literarily unique and shouldn't be missed by anyone who calls themselves a lover of historical romance. I'm eagerly awaiting the fourth book in this series. I'm loving him more and more as the series goes on! The show also interviews a ballistic expert, who says the evidence suggests that both Steve and Barbara's hands were on the gun, as she said, but this evidence was ignored by the police, who argued that only Barbara's hands were on it. Her twists are unpredictable and now we got the chance to really comprehend the second part that will follow next. And the events of the plot were well enough thought out too - but not well executed. First, the book - I really enjoyed this story and the characters. He seemed too self-centered and destructive to everyone around him - completely irredeemable.
