Hamon says that all fivefold ministries will be actively training the saints for their work of ministry. As Paul says in each of these passages, there are many gifts, and they are all given by the One Spirit, and we are all members of each other. Ok, now let's look at those other two lists, starting with the one in 1 Corinthians 12, verse 28 where Paul says: "And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Does Everyone Have A Five-Fold Gift? All that pain disappeared when Apostle Kathryn called everyone to altar to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, the result has often been an unhealthy elevation of the office of an "apostle" feeding into people's need for power and recognition. Ive been born and raised Christian but it was a religious and familiar spirit. First, let me explain why I reject the Five Fold concept. So, since the body of Christ definitely is not built up to unity in the faith and has not attained to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, the thinking goes, the offices of apostle and prophet must still be in effect. Others discard the verse altogether, claiming that Paul is speaking in the apostolic age which has long passed, so that his words are not relevant to us at all any more. While they are grieved to see believers' indifference regarding the lost, they do have an anointing to impart God's broken heart to the body. We need teams and we need to release all the giftings! Evangelists gather people. In fact, the five-fold ministry is there to equip the Saints (that's you and me) to do the "front line" work of the church. Be Part of Our Local Gatherings. When everyone is working together in their gifts and calling, the Church is able to accomplish more than what any one person could do on their own.
This church is hungry for God to move in power every service and worship night. That's got to be another sermon. But what we need is for that to be flipped… 22 leaders cheering on 22, 000 participants… doing the stuff of Jesus and the kingdom. And I'll talk more about that in a minute. In our brokenness, we so need shepherds to care for us, and love us and nurse us back to wholeness…. Ephesians 4:11 tells us that God has anointed some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers. The five-fold ministry is found in Ephesians 4:11, and it refers to the five roles that God has called Christians to fill. Have a healthy structure comprising of elders and deacons. So we need a rediscovery of all the roles that Jesus has gifted people in the church to exercise. However, they work together. As long as the church is not unified, mature, growing and demonstrating fullness…. Imbalance in the church is producing immaturity in the body. You see Jesus loves his church. So Paul continues in chapter 4… but kind of detours before getting back into how we should live in light of the Gospel story. Fivefold Evengelists disciple other evangelists so they can be released for the harvest. The middle finger is the Evangelist because he has the most reach. The first category are The Vocal Gifts. The calling of the pastor is not get a paycheck and run away from the sheep.

We have been working at unity among our leadership through prayer, humility, and tearing down the walls of pride. The Thumb represents the Apostle: The thumb touches all others and it enables us to grip. Each of these gifts reveals a part of Jesus, but the gifts need to operate together in teams in order to reveal the complete image of Jesus Christ. Prophets also have a role in interceding for people. Thirdly we have Evangelists – which literally means messengers of Good News. They just love opening the Word with you…. Today, He is restoring a biblical understanding of what these roles and callings mean, so that His bride can come into the fullness of what He has for her, getting ready for her Bridegroom's glorious return. This pertains to strengths in our lives.
In the local church they are the bridge between the different offices and functions, listening to all sides and restoring calm and order where necessary. He wants them to be fed, to grow, to be equipped, to develop their giftings and step into the calling of God for them. Many of the other gifts are actively involved as we minster healing to the sick. John 4:19-29, 11:4). We need one another to grow and to thrive. Our focus has been seeking Holy Spirit to bring people the revelation of their need to repent, forgive, and be delivered.
