Bradley Cooper was good, but no better really than I have seen him before. For fans of: quirky comedies. It's quite enjoyable, funny and likable and the performances are strong. The scene were the "big bet" is so damn contrived and illogical that it's embarrassing and ruined everything they'd built in the first two acts. In the book, her character, Tiffany, is 39, while in the movie, the role was played by a 20 or 21-year-old Jennifer Lawrence. The cast is David O. She picks the son up at the hospital and that's about it -- kind of a zero compared with (say) Melissa Leo as the mom in "The Fighter. " This is the movie of the year in my opinion. And I love David O. Russell. So I loved the movie, and I recommend it to all movie goers out there because Silver Linings Playbook is flawless.
