As a whodunit, it gets straight into mystery within a few pages and provides ample clues and suspects, although, as a book, it really suffers from poor proofreading, with some sloppy typos (here/her and all ready/already, several times) and atrocious spelling errors (pealing/peeling; singing/singeing; conscious/conscience; amble/ample) which was really distracting.
